From Gizmodo itself, the October edition of top 10 includes such amazing apps as Layar, the Augmented Reality app that makes me want a 3GS 10x more, and Rock Band, the first major rhythm game to hit the iPhone platform.

128GB Flash drive makes me feel uncomfortable in my masculinity
From Corsair this drive has supposedly blazing transfer rates and an impressive 128GB storage space. However, it's $400, which is basically absurd.
Next Nintendo Handheld may have free 3G wireless a la Kindle
While this would be amazing, there are problems as Nintendo's president states
"Only people who can pay thousands of yen a month [in mobile phone subscriptions] can be iPhone customers. That doesn't fit Nintendo customers because we make amusement products," Mr Iwata said.The Kindle's one-off cost would better suit Nintendo's customer base, he said. "In reality, if we did this it would increase the cost of the hardware, and customers would complain about Nintendo putting prices up, but it is one option for the future."
